Bold Creativity
A Jookin’ Jam Session with Lil Buck and Friends

On April 29, 2016, international dance artist Lil Buck visited Holy Cross for a Jookin’ Jam Session with four enthusiastic Crusaders. The performance was just one of the many festivities of the kickoff weekend for the Become More Campaign.

Beam Signing and Dedication of the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex

The Holy Cross community gathered on April 30, 2016, for a historic beam signing in front of the renovation and construction site of the Hart Center at the Luth Athletic Complex. College President Philip L. Boroughs, S.J., addressed the crowd and thanked donors John E. Luth ’74, and Joanne Chouinard-Luth. The beam signing was just one of the many festivities of the kickoff weekend for the Become More Campaign. 

Symposium 
The Value and Relevancy of a Jesuit Education in the 21st Century

The celebratory weekend showcased the dynamic academic life at Holy Cross, including a symposium. Moderated by Stephanie Yuhl, professor of history, four successful alumni shared how their Holy Cross education shaped their lives and work: Douglas M. Baker ’81, chairman of the board and chief executive vice president officer of Ecolab Inc.; AnnMaura Connolly ’86, chief strategy officer and executive vice president of City Year, Inc.; Brian P. Kelley ’83, vice chairman of Keurig Green Mountain, Inc.; and Mary Agnes Wilderotter ’77, former chief executive officer and executive chairman of Frontier Communications. 

Campaign Gala

The Kickoff Gala for the Become More Campaign took place on April 30, 2016, in historic Kimball Hall. Hosted by Mark Shriver ’86, the event featured music, singing, and dramatic readings from Holy Cross history. The gala was the culmination of the kickoff weekend launching the Become More Campaign.
