Honor with Books
The Holy Cross Parents Council invites you to celebrate your son's or daughter’s graduation by participating in the Honor with Books program. Last year, 80,000 books were circulated from the Library to 3,000 students, faculty, and staff. The Library has a tight budget for books and journals, as it works to keep up with rising costs. Parent participation in Honor with Books provides an enduring resource for Holy Cross while giving parents a way to celebrate their student's accomplishments.
A tax-deductible gift of $100 allows the Library to purchase a book for the collections. Although it is not possible to name a particular work, you may choose within an area of study that is reflective of your child’s major or area of interest. A bookplate bearing the name of your son or daughter will be placed in each newly purchased book, and you will receive a facsimile bookplate in appreciation of your gift.
You may choose a book from one of the following areas of study:
Accounting
Africana Studies
American Sign Language and Deaf Studies
Anthropology
Art History
