Parents Council

The Parents Council was formed to allow parents an opportunity to participate in a meaningful way in their children’s educational experience at Holy Cross. Through Parents Council, parents can contribute their talents and resources to the College through membership on any of the five sub-committees. Each sub-committee’s activities aim to address important needs of students and parents. Through Parents Council activities, parents stay informed about important issues at the College; meet other Holy Cross families; and provide a unique perspective back to the College. Parents Council meets twice each year; once on Saturday morning of Family Weekend and once in the spring.
Executive Committee
The Parents Council Executive Committee is a leadership group of parents who coordinate the five sub-committees. The co-chairs of each sub-committee are asked to assume the following responsibilities:
- Attend two Parents Council Meetings each year
- Give a brief update on committee activities to the Parents Council
- Coordinate the efforts of parent volunteers
- Support the direction of the Parents Council Executive Committee
- Host a gathering of other parents or prospective parents.
