Ireland June 12 - 20, 2010

Cliffs of MoherJoin Fr. John Brooks, S.J., president emeritus of the College, and Paige Reynolds, our faculty’s expert on Irish literature, on an educational experience of a lifetime, with Ireland as the classroom. The educational theme of the tour is: How the Irish Saved Civilization; based on the book of the same title, by Thomas Cahill, a former Jesuit. Fr. Brooks will update the ideas in the book on the religious side, and Professor Reynolds will tell us about the lilt of modern Irish literature.

LindosOn this nine day aboard Corinthian II, alumni travelers followed in the footsteps of St. Paul and learned about the culture of the ancient Mediterranean at the first flowering of Christianity.
