Holy Cross Technology Group
March 11, 2009
Good things continue to be in bloom with the Technology Group as evidenced by the more than 100 alums who heard Holy Cross Head Football Coach Tom Gilmore give an inspirational talk on overcoming obstacles and adversity to reach goals and be successful. Coach Gilmore’s message of using lessons learned on the gridiron to attain peak performance and achieve success in the boardroom and in the workplace was a source of encouragement to the alumni and students in attendance, more so in these particularly difficult economic times.
The size of the crowd and degree of networking (business leads, potential job openings, etc.) going on throughout the evening marked another successful event for this growing alumni affiliation group that now has 470 registered members.
Event sponsors, Professor David Chu, Director of the Ciocca Office of Entrepreneurial Studies, John Kearney ’74, Partner, Tatum LLC, Paul Leone ’98, Vice President, Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, and Bryan Sparkes ’04, Associate, Jones Lang LaSalle, made it possible to present such an attractive program in a terrific venue, the Downtown Harvard Club.
The Holy Cross Technology Group is a three year old group that connects Holy Cross alumni and students who are associated with the high tech, biotech, clean tech, life sciences and other technology fields.
