Communications Industry Networking Event

The need for and value of professional networking for Holy Cross Alumni was underscored this past summer in New York City. In June, the Holy Cross Leadership Council of New York hosted a Communications Industry Networking Evening at the New York Athletic Club for alumni in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Media and Public Relations. This "meet and greet" event provided the opportunity for alums to socialize in a most convivial setting while expanding business and career opportunities.

The Leadership Council, and in particular Mary Donahue Quinlan '76 and Bill Phelan '73, Chair of the Council, is to be commended for taking the initiative to address the career networking needs of alumni in the metro New York area. An event such as this serves to highlight the continuing need for alumni to sign on as career advisors through the Alumni Online Directory or by contacting Bob Wally '68, Coordinator of the Holy Cross Student/Alumni Career Network at rwally@holycross.edu.
