Holy Cross Club of Greater Boston Career Networking Evening
On September 26 in Boston, 90 alumni had the opportunity to participate in a valuable career networking event - a Career Networking educational program, featuring a PowerPoint presentation and guided tour of the Holy Cross Online Community, presented by John Winters, Director of the Holy Cross Career Planning Center, and Bob Wally '68, Coordinator of the Holy Cross Student/Alumni Career Network.
Because of the initiative of the Holy Cross Club of Greater Boston and in particular the support of Paul Leone '98, president, young alumni were provided an informative and rewarding career networking experience.
Designed as a "how to" program, the event demonstrated how the Holy Cross Online Community can be used for career networking and focused on the strategies and do's and don'ts of career networking in general.
The event was hosted by Don Schroeder '91, Scott Ford '91 and Matt Hurley '89 and held at the office of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C.
Given the tools and an understanding of career networking, alumni will be better able to network, either now or in the future - whenever the need arises.
