Holy Cross Club of Greater Boston Spring Networking Event
March 10, 2005
The importance of regional clubs to the Career Advisor Network was demonstrated recently on March 10 in Boston. That evening 128 alums had the opportunity to renew acquaintances and network in a most convivial setting.
The event, coordinated by Paul Leone '98 and hosted by Bill Kennedy '76 of Nutter, McClennan and Fish, underscored the contribution regional clubs can make to career networking.
Featured speaker Gordie Lockbaum '88 provided a perspective on sports in society, with an emphasis on youth in sports, that was both refreshing and timely.
The buzz of conversation throughout the evening was evidence of the networking and socialization going on.
It was a great evening. The Boston Club can serve as a model for bringing alums together to enjoy a good time while expanding business and career opportunities.
Those who planned and participated in this event deserve congratulations for a job well done.
