Alumni Interview Report

Thank you for interviewing a prospective student for Holy Cross. Please complete the form below with your personal observations about the student from your conversation. Please remember to keep a back-up copy of your report for your records.

This interview report will become part of the student's application to Holy Cross, so please keep in mind that you should write honestly and professionally about the candidate. Provide more than just a list courses and activities. How excited is the applicant about learning? How have they grown from participation in their extracurriculars? How have they challenged themselves inside and outside the classroom? What would this student contribute to the Holy Cross community?, etc.

Please be candid. If you feel there is a reason why the candidate would not be a good addition to the College or you have a slight reservation, let us know. It is important, however, to differentiate between a candidate's character and his or her academic promise. You may not agree with a student's views, but it is imperative that you remain objective. All interview reports are held in confidence and are removed from the application after review period. Only the Admissions Committee has access to them. Therefore, you should not have any reservations about being totally honest.
