As a Fenwick Scholar, the highest academic honor bestowed on a Holy Cross student, Matthew Pinder '20 spent his senior year composing an ambitious work for orchestra and soloists based on the Stations of the Cross. With its intended premiere prevented by the pandemic, the piece has never been performed by a full orchestra until now. This weekend, the Prior Performing Arts Center presents the Boston-based Phoenix orchestra in the world premiere of Pinder's "Stations of the Cross." Join us in the Luth Concert Hall at the new Prior Performing Arts Center for an opportunity to reflect on this ever-timely story of human suffering and on the incredible creativity made possible by a Holy Cross education.
