Frequently asked questions about Reunion:

General


Can we bring children to Reunion?
Due to limited housing and support staff, the College regrets that it is unable to accommodate children during Reunion weekend. However, children ARE welcome to attend the Saturday afternoon picnic.

Is transportation provided to get around campus?
Bus/van service will be available throughout the campus until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and until noon on Sunday.

What is the dress attire for Reunion events?

  • Friday evening's class dinners - business casual - slacks, shirt, sport coat for men, skirt or pants for women
  • Saturday picnic - casual - shorts, t-shirts, etc.
  • Saturday evening's receptions and dinners - a suit or jacket with tie for men / dress, skirt or pants suit for women

Registration

When will Reunion registration materials be mailed out?
Registration packets and brochures will be mailed out during the first two weeks of April 2008. Your registration form MUST be accompanied by payment (check or credit card #). A late fee will be assessed to registration forms received after May 17th (for Reunion Weekend #1) or May 24th (for Reunion Weekend #2)

What happens if I need to cancel part/all of my reservation?
In order to receive a refund, you need to cancel your reservation by May 30th (for Reunion Weekend #1) or June 6th (for Reunion Weekend #2). Refunds will NOT be made after these dates. Please call the Reunion Line at 508-793-3031(for RW1) or 508-793-3033 (for RW2) to cancel. Refunds will be processed the first two weeks after Reunion.

Housing

Which residence hall will I be assigned to?
Each reunion class is assigned to a specific dorm. Once designated class areas are filled, room assignments are made on a space-available basis.

For Reunion 2008, the class dorm assignments will be as follows:

How do I request to live with someone?
You must submit both reservation forms and full payment together in order to be assigned to the same room. Alumni requesting blocks of rooms must submit reservations and payment for everyone in the group by May 17th (for RW1) or May 24th (for RW2)

Do I need to bring sheets/towels?
Our Housing staff provides each room occupant with bed linens and pillows as well as bath towels and soap. These supplies are not replenished daily. You may wish to bring extra towels, clothes hangers, a portable fan, an iron, a small reading lamp or an alarm clock. Laundry facilities are also available in the basement of each residence hall.

Are there phones available in the rooms?
Each room is equipped with a phone, however you must use a calling card to access an outside line. Instructions on dialing will be provided in your room.

What if I don't want to stay on campus?
Alumni/ae who wish to stay off campus during Reunion weekend may want to contact a Worcester area hotel. Off-campus reservations are the responsibility of the alumnus/a.
