Interviews
One-on-one interviews are held for high school seniors with an admissions counselor, a trained member of the senior class or with a Holy Cross alumnus volunteer. Although not required, interviews are highly recommended.
Students interested in interviewing will be granted only one interview, whether on-campus or off-campus.
On-campus Interviews
On-campus interviews are available from May 1st — Dec. 30 by appointment on any day that the Admissions Office is open for business. Early Decision candidates interested in having an interview must have their interview completed by Nov. 25. To arrange for an on-campus interview, please call the Admissions Office at least two weeks in advance at 800-442-2421.
Off-campus Interviews
For those who are unable to travel to campus for an interview, we do offer two opportunities for students to interview off campus. As our admissions staff is traveling around the country meeting with prospective students, we take some time to host interview nights in some of the larger cities we visit. Interviews are held on specific nights in the fall that coincide with our travel schedules. Please refer to our schedule of dates, and be sure to request an off-campus interview as early in advance as possible.
We also offer the unique opportunity for you to interview in your area with a Holy Cross alumnus who has been trained as an admissions interviewer. Due to time constraints, Early Decision candidates are not eligible for alumni interviews. After you have submitted your application please visit the alumni interview request form to request an alumni interview. Requests for alumni interviews are only accepted until Dec. 1.
