Alumni Interviews
For those students who have submitted their application, and are unable to travel to campus, we offer a unique opportunity for you to interview in your area with a Holy Cross alumnus who has been trained as an admissions interviewer. Students interested in interviewing will be granted only one interview, whether on-campus or off-campus.

Who can request an alumni interview?
Any student who is unable to travel to campus for an on-campus interview and has not already scheduled or completed an interview with a Holy Cross representative can request an alumni interview. Students must submit their application for admission prior to requesting an alumni interview. Early Decision candidates and transfer applicants may not request an alumni interview. Who conducts alumni interviews?
The interviews are conducted by trained alumni volunteers in your area. Once your request is processed, you will be contacted by an alumni interviewer to schedule the interview. Interviews may not be available in all areas.When are alumni interviews available?
Once your application is on file in the Holy Cross admissions office, you may request an alumni interview up until December 1. Please do not request an alumni interview until you’ve submitted your application.Where are these interviews held?
Interviews are held at places convenient for both parties (the alumnus' place of work, a coffee shop, public library, guidance office, etc.).Does the alumni interview become part of my application file?
Yes. An alumni interview is given the same weight as an interview conducted in the admissions office and the alumnus' write-up will become part of your application.
