Application
We require students applying for transfer admission to submit the Common Application’s, “Transfer Application.” The application form (www.commonapp.org) can be sent electronically or mailed to the Admissions Office together with your $60.00 application fee. In cases where our fee would cause undue hardship, Holy Cross honors the College Board fee waiver.

Make sure you have answered all questions thoroughly and precisely. Remember, you are your best advocate, so take some time when completing each section of the application. If the forms do not provide enough space, feel free to use additional sheets.

High School Transcript:
A final transcript of all high school work is required.

Transcript of all College Work
A complete official transcript(s) of all college work, including current-semester courses and grades, is required. If your current semester courses are still in progress, a midterm progress report should be submitted by the application deadline indicating what courses you are taking, and your current grade in each course, signed and dated by each of your current professors.  An official final transcript for all course work still must be submitted to us, as soon as it is available.

Two (2) Professor Recommendations:
Two (2) professor recommendations from current professors are required.  Additional letters of support are welcome.

Statement of Good Standing:
This statement, completed by the Dean of Students at the college you are currently attending, is to verify that you are in good academic and disciplinary standing at your institution.

Course Descriptions:
Please submit course catalog pages (or photocopies) giving course descriptions of all subjects completed or to be completed.

Interview:
The last day you may have an interview is December 1, 2009. An interview with a member of the Admissions Staff is highly recommended for all transfer applicants. It is the applicant’s responsibility to arrange an appointment in advance by calling the Admissions Office at 800-442-2421. Interviews are offered Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. — 5:00 p.m.

Standardized Testing:
The submission of standardized test scores is optional. If you are submitting testing, request scores be sent to the College. The College Board code number is 3282. The American College Testing Program code is 1810. Students who opt not to submit scores will not be at any disadvantage in Admissions decisions.

Supplementary Materials:
Students with strong extracurricular interests are invited to submit samples of their talent.  Our most common submissions are of a musical, theatrical or artistic nature.  Slides, cassette tapes, CD's and DVD's are the most effective forms of media.  Students should submit duplicate or disposable materials, as no supplements will be returned.

*In addition, copies of the “Non-Custodial Parent's Statement” and/or “Business/Farm Supplement” should be sent directly to the Financial Aid Office at this time. The Non-Custodial Parent Statement as well as the Business/Farm Supplement are forms that may have to be completed based on the information you provided on the Profile registration.
