Montserrat

Applying students should familiarize themselves with Montserrat, Holy Cross’ unique program for all first-year students.
Montserrat is special because it connects three parts of college life – learning, living, and doing – that may sometimes be seen as separate activities. The program is designed so that from your very first days on our residential campus, you can take advantage of everything Holy Cross offers. Through Montserrat, you choose a small group seminar as one of your courses. You live in a residence hall where there are a multitude of opportunities to extend classroom discussions and explore intellectual questions in an interdisciplinary way. And you are introduced to other hands-on, experiential opportunities that are not only valuable in themselves, but may lead to new academic or co-curricular interests, internships or even career directions.
