Why I chose Holy Cross: From the moment I entered the Holy Cross gates, I was struck by the warmth of the campus environment. The countless smiling faces of students, faculty and staff displayed the enthusiasm that all members of the HC community have for every facet of campus life. Whether they are intellectual, social or spiritual, challenges are posed on a daily basis for students to excel on “The Hill,” and what makes Holy Cross students so special is their desire to meet and even surpass each one of those challenges. I ultimately chose Holy Cross because in the towering brick buildings, crawling ivy and soaring staircases, I saw a true home where the mind, body and spirit are nurtured by strong faith, good friends and the challenge to continue to excel in the future.
