Why I chose Holy Cross: Being a Worcester native, I can honestly say that at first I wasn't interested in staying close to home, applying to colleges that were 6+ hours away, the majority being schools of art. On my way home from school one day, my mom and I decided to stop off a few exits before our house to take a tour of the college I thought I was so familiar with. After learning about the Jesuit education, credibility of the professors, and small campus ambiance I knew that Holy Cross was where I wanted to be. The liberal arts that Holy Cross offers would allow me to pursue my passion for visual art studio and history while integrating philosophy, literature, science, etc. into my curriculum, creating a more well-rounded education.
