Peace and Conflict Studies
This concentration, offered through the Center for Interdisciplinary and Special Studies, is a multidisciplinary program available to students who wish to complement their major field with courses on world peace and social justice. The curriculum addresses the crucial challenges of the contemporary world and prepares students to deal effectively with threats to peace, justice, and human survival.
The program offers the environment and opportunity to examine political, economic, ideological, ethnic, religious, and cross-cultural conflicts; study systematic means of conflict resolution; investigate the alternative of non-violent problem solving; and apply religious and moral values to issues of justice and peace.
