Big Brother Big Sister offers Holy Cross Students the opportunity to mentor at-risk Worcester youth through the Boys and Girls club. Following an interview, volunteers are matched with a child who will become their Little and with whom will develop a one-on-one mentioning relationship. Weekly meetings are centered on recreation with your Little including arts and crafts, computer games, swimming, basketball, board games and other activities.
"Working with these children and seeing how happy they are to see me come each week is something that really makes me feel happy that I decided to volunteer. I know that I have truly made a positive impact in the lives of these kids."
