Appalachia Service ProjectAppalacia Service Project
Each year during Spring Break, Holy Cross students travel to thirteen locations in Appalachia, Maine and Camden, NJ. While there, students paint, perform home repair, assist the elderly, clean up parks, serve in soup kitchens, tutor school children and experience the warm hospitality of our hosts. While students work by day, evenings are dedicated to reflection and discussion and to attending scheduled local events.

A Holy Cross tradition for over twenty years, the Appalachia Service Project sends 135 students to these various sites each year. An informational meeting is held in October. Applications are made available at that time.
