Russian
The Russian program at Holy Cross combines a love of Russian culture with a vibrant academic program. Students gain an appreciation for the importance and beauty of the Russian language and culture, while developing speaking skills and literacy in Russian cultural history and geography.
The Russian program offers both a major and a minor. In addition to language courses, students may choose to study Russian literature, drama, and film. Students who wish to study the politics and history of Russia in addition to its culture should investigate Russian and Eastern European Studies, a student-designed minor offered through the Center for Interdisciplinary and Special Studies.
