Prebusiness Program
A liberal arts degree is the perfect preparation for a business career. Students of the liberal arts learn how to think critically. Rather than focusing on specific technical skills, they learn to read, write, and communicate effectively. Most business leaders will credit their liberal arts education with equipping them for the challenges presented in today's dynamic economy.
Consistent with the College's mission to prepare students to become moral leaders in business and civic life, the Prebusiness program assists students as they prepare to transition from Holy Cross to the business world. A faculty advisor helps students with their academic plans and promotes student participation in the College's Executive Leadership Workshop, summer internship programs, and other special programming, such as the Ciocca Entrepreneurial Seminar Series.
There are no specific courses that must be taken in order to participate in the Prebusiness program. Rather, students are encouraged to pursue majors that interest and challenge them.
